The Wasp log# 5 - Journey to Colonia - Day 1 (2)

I rested well on that planet for the night. When i woke up i took the SRV out to gather some minerals then i headed back to my journey.

Not too many terraformable planets discovered in this second day so far, only metal-rich burnt worlds, asteroid belts and systems with only stars in them; no planets.
I am 60 jumps left to my checkpoint, Colonia seems so far away.

Space is so quiet and peaceful. No pirate to interdict you on the way. You really feel alone. I am starting to feel the nostalgia for the bubble. I wonder how Rhea is doing.

I got sucked in a red dwarf, i had to use a heatsink and my hull took a little damage. it's ok, i have the Auto-repair maintenance module installed. I will need more Vanadium though. I lost my focus for a minute and here we are.

I have entered the Inner Scutum-Centaurus arm. I am getting close to my checkpoint. 600ly remaining to Pro Aewsy JA-L B49-1. The distant stars are becoming brighter. This is definitely not the same space as the Inner Orion Spur's. I am getting close to the center may be.

i made it to my checkpoint. No planets around. I am 10,000ly away from Sol now and 12,000ly to Colonia. Another 190 jumps to go. Damn it's far. I wish i had met a neutron star around here.

i set course to a planet that has some vanadium, Skaudai KF-Y C17-46 2. With 1.6G of gravity,, i will have to take easy a little for the landing. I will gather some.

While searching for vanadium, i encountered a crashed ship with 2 occupied escape pods. I will bring them with me to Colonia. Hopefully, those people will find help. They probably are travelers who crashed in this forsaken planet. Their ship is a mess. They had some cargo, probably bringing these to Colonia. Lucky i was around.

PRUA PHOE LW-P B11-11; a no man's space. I am the first to discover this system with 3 high metal content worlds (with a lot of geological sites) and 1 rocky ice world. So gratifying that when someone else will set ship in this system my name will be showing up.
