14:28:32Flew the LÉ Niamh to a void opal hotspot in one of the rings of the 5th planet orbiting AZ-B A29-2 in the COL 285 Sector. Took pirates less than five minutes to scan my ship in the hopes of stealing some decent cargo. Thankfully, as I literally just arrived at the site I had nothing in my hold. Once they pissed off I began scanning the nearby asteroids in the hopes of finding some void opals.
15:07:23
Found my first void opal rich astoroid. Didn’t get an optimal blast but still managed to crack it open and fetch a decent haul of void opals. On to the next.
15:47:35
After blowin’ the hell outta five more asteroids I ran out of collection and prospector limpets. Managed to almost fill my cargo space to capacity with 45 sellable pieces of void opal. A friend back home in Alpha Centauri said he heard that there was high demand for void opals at Caillie Hub in the Ebana system, which is only about 130ly from my current position. Hopefully I don’t run into any pirates. I have no way to fight back in this ship and if they manage to scan my cargo hold there’s no way in hell they’d let me escape.
15:55:54
Made it to Ebana in one piece with no signs of pirates. Thank God. Turns out ol’ Connor’s info wasspot on - demand at Caillie Hub was up by 880%! Any pilots intercepting this transmission should take any void opals they have over there while there’s still demand. I made a small fortune in what feels like no time. Finally have he funds I need to outfit the Razor Cest.

Decided to spend the night at this station. It’s got some pretty well stocked bars and I could do with a real bed. I’ll rest up, resupply and rendezvous with my squadron. We’re currently reinforcing an ally that’s lock in a war in a system quite a few jumps from here, I’m gonna need my rest before jumping into that hell.
