Inyahin's day started out with a bit of mountain climbing, after a night of partying she woke up on a foreign planet, and right at the foothills of a mountain, after checking how tall it was the challenge was on... Drive to the top! 9500m above the ground
Half way mark, she stops to admire the view and have a cup of tea, from her precious The Hutton Mug.
You'd think that climbing a mountain was all about climbing, but it also had some rapid descents, some planned to make better progress from a different angle of attack, some ... unplanned.... She did however make it to the top.
Whilst settling in for another cup of tea Inyahin remembered that she'd heard from all her friends that an Engineer called Professor Palin is renowned for making the best Thruster Modifications in the Galaxy. He self proclaims himself as an engineering expert, but anyone who's anyone knows that Farseer is the superior expert in this area.
With the unknown visiting flower ships, and Professor Palin's research into these Inyahin thought it would be best to make herself known to the Professor. He's said to keep reports on Commander's record journeys away from the bubble, and he's only interested in those that have ventured 5,000 light years away from home. Her previous record was barely 2,000ly, so she had to double this and then some...
And the journey started with the Nebula IC 4604

After four thousand light years journey to the Nebula she decided it was time for tea. So she found a landable planet inside the nebula, sat her ship down again with her favourite Mug. It's quite pretty in here!
On the way out, she was delighted when she crossed into eclipse of a water world..
She's almost at her destination, the Trifid Nebula, when she gets a message from Professor Palin, congratulating her on her new personal best distance away from home.
Arriving at the Nebula she finds that the dark patch of the Nebula matches the nose of her ship almost exactly... Perhaps the designers had this in mind? Naa it must be a wonderful coincidence.
She had a quick look around inside the nebula, but could not find any suitable landing opportunities, and checking the clock decided it's the right time to make her way back home.
She decided to take the express route home, so she plotted her route back using Neutron Star FSD Injections which extend jump range by ... well it's a lot. Some of her jumps were over 180 light years. She makes a note to book her ship in for an overhaul when she gets back.
On the way back she can't help but stop off at Thor's Eye, which has a secondary stellar object Black Hole. She goes for a visit and finds it's quite a big one at 18 Solar Masses.
She also discovered a stow away.. a strange Leathery Egg just sitting in an odd place in her ship. Just the sight of it makes the hair on the back of her neck stand on end and she shoves it out of the airlock to be consumed by this monsterous black hole.... Thinking back on her route, she can only conclude that it came from Ridley Scott Spaceport in Zaonce... Everyone there were constantly in a state of anxiety, almost panic. Inyahin does not like this place one little bit. Maybe somewhere to avoid in the future.
