Celestial Expedition I - Day 1
19 Nov 2022Annie Satevis
18 NOV 3308It took us a little longer than expected, but we're finally on our way! Celestial Expedition I has officially kicked off with a short trip to UIA#7. Phoenix and I managed to catch a glimpse of it in Synuefai SZ-J B56-0. We tried to chase it down for a closer look but only managed to get just above 1,800c before the Celestial Ranger started to groan in protest. We figured the smart move was to end the chase and work our way to our first waypoint instead of burning out our DBX too soon. We did manage to get a couple of pictures though:
We're now taking the Ranger to the Statue of Liberty Sector to hopefully meet up with our fellow squad mates from Aisling's Angels. With any luck, we should make it there in a day or so. Personally, I have to say it feels so liberating to finally journey out of the bubble again after being there for so long. I love our squadron and all the people in it, and I love our cause. If there's anyone in this galaxy who stands a chance of uniting humanity under the banner of peace and harmony, it is Her Majesty, Princess Aisling Duval. With all that said, my first love is exploration and being able to see all the wonders this galaxy has to offer.
For those wishing to track our journey, here are the systems we've visited on this first day, in order:

We've instructed the Celestial Avenger to catch up to us at Prua Dryoae KV-D b32-1 so we can travel together on the second leg to the Statue of Liberty sector. No major or new discoveries of note yet. I will try to post pictures in these logs if I do discover anything noteworthy in the coming days.
