Captain's Log - Into the black
11 Jun 2020Geradine
Well, It's been a while since I've been around. Life has a way of getting to you when you least expect it, and all my ships were repoed. However, I'm back in the saddle. Been about a week since I re-upped my Pilot's license, and I'm currently out in the black, getting my wings as a proper explorer. This little Hauler I'm sitting in, the Seeing Stars, was funded by a Type 6, the Astral Topaz, doing the Lave Loop. My current destination is a little nebula some 8000 light years from the bubble. Something to load up on cartography data and see the sights with. Doesn't hurt it's getting me used to the silence. Just the sounds of the life support and engines humming away between scans and the occasional little SRV outing. Should be able to fund me getting an AspX for the pilgrimage to Sag A*. I'll be posting at least one of these logs a day, as well as any postcard moments from my journey, if I manage to snag any. This is Commander Geradine, on the eleventh of June, 3306, at 0740 galactic standard, signing off.
