Welp, this little tub isn't meant to go long distance. Probably doesn't help that I'm loafing around the systems I explore either. Did find some weird... fungus... things? Again, on an HMC, but these things were sitting there, in pure vacuum, making all sorts of odd noises and oozing. I'm sure I managed to pick up some first maps, if not first discoveries, but I'm pulling back to the bubble. I need something with longer legs if I'm going to be making it further than about 1k light years out... This is Commander Geradine, twelfth of June, 0004, signing off.
