Captain's Log - Another night, another system.

Another 50 jumps down, with absolutely no mishaps or unintentional smearing of my ship across the landscape, so I'd call this a good day. Came across my first couple of A class stars in this leg, and woo boy... I know They call them "blue-white" stars, but they just look white to me. Lots of stuff floating around in those systems, as well. Lots of ringed planets in the two I came across, even some ringed HMCs. Those were interesting. One even looked like a terraform candidate, but the scanners said otherwise. I've once again settled planetside for my sleep cycle, a little HMC mudball, B 2 of my current system, with a quarter G. Feels good to drink my tea from a cup rather than through a straw... Gillian is still grumbling after yesterday's mishap, and I feel that he's going to continue to do such throughout the entire trip. Maybe reaching his destination will increase his mood. It's still another 457 jumps until I reach it, but when I look back at the distance I've come, I didn't even make it a fraction of this way in the Seeing Stars... Doesn't hurt I've used the experience from that first trip into the black to... refine my technique. I'm focusing my scans instead of hitting everything in sight. I only full system every 25 jumps, and hunt for the more profitable things otherwise. HMCs, water worlds, metallic objects, ELWs, and concentrated signals. Haven't encountered any of the former, and only one of the latter, but there's plenty of space between here and there left to go. This is Commander Geradine, on the sixteenth of June, 3306, at 0523 Galactic Standard, signing off.
