Captain's Log - Stuck at anchor

Bloody system's been giving me hell today. Been throwing one error code or another at me whenever I try to boot her up. Hell, even Verity wouldn't come online, which is one hell of an issue. Been rummagin about under the console, and replaced some wiring that was a little too fried from my inadvertent cookings and dropping from super. Guess those numbers don't tell the whole story. Anywho, I finally got everything put back up, and Verity's dulcet tones are floating through the cockpit again, informing me of an irritatingly long time I need to wait until system checks are through. I can understand, though. Being stuck in your own head unable to look out, speak, or hear has got to be a disturbing thing, even for the a computer, so I don't fault her being a little... stringent on her checks. Does mean that I've lost time, though, so I'm going to be pulling a longer stint later on to make up the 50 I lost mucking about under the hood in addition to the normal 50 I have to pull. 100 jumps... Six hours of jumping, scanning, and repeating. Good thing I'm a right stubborn bastard, otherwise I might start coming down with the Madness. 'Course, being out in the black, helps if you're a little mad to begin with. Well, might as well go inform Gill of out little delay, and assure him that otherwise we're well on schedule to get him out to his destination, and back, well within the time he has laid out for us. Woo. Fuck, I need some caff... uh, this is Commander Geradine, on the eighteenth of June, 3306, at 0702 GalStan, signing off.
