Witch Queen Log # 4

I have arrived back in Diaguandri space, inbound for Ray Gateway station. 
On route, I was interdicted by a Corvette class pirate vessel, who demanded I drop cargo. Unusual, as I had empty cargo holds. I did manage to low wake out of there, before jumping, but did also sustain damage during the encounter, due to being fired upon almost immediately.
I have since docked at Ray Gateway where I am now making preparations to depart for Jaques Station. I have loaded up with a full cargo hold of Structural Regulators, and whilst the Witch Queen is being repaired, I have had the Dock Techs reconfigure the loadout's to new specifications.
I've spent my last evening before departure chatting with quite a charming fellow in one of the upper level holo spas. Turns out he's quite a well renowned artist famed for his abstract landscapes. Apparently he has been commissioned by the Federal navy and a top secret division within the navy to try and work out what the symbols on the alien barnacles could actually represent. I have my doubts that what he was telling me had even the slightest grain of truth, but it was an interesting evening all the same, of which I cant recall all the details, apart from a lot of paint being involved, several girls from the holo spa and a rather large crate of Giant Irukama Snails....which was nice
