My journey toward Jacques continues. By my calculation I must now have travelled approximately 8000 light years. The further I get out into deep space, the easier the routine seems to be. 
So far, I'm encountering patterns in the stars. I seem to be passing through fields of M class and K class stars before crossing through patches of brown dwarfs. I have found it very beneficial to be carrying an additional fuel tank for the journey.
I have still to discover an earth type world but have come across several water worlds, most suitable to be terraformed as well.
I have also attempted a dual fuel scoop between two M class stars, I won't be attempting this again though!!
