Tarrants Log # 25
26 Aug 2016Dell Tarrant
With the successful completion of the mining operation out here, I am using this temporary lull in activity to embark on a short survey trip to the nearby nebula DRYOOE PROU AA-A H 131 (which from now on I am referring to as the Blood nebula, due to its colour!)I have departed from Jaques in the DRXS Rick Astley (it's never going to give me up or let me down etc) on a short 1000ly trip. On the way I will be checking out various interesting star systems and surveying where I feel the need.
I have encountered a world rich in metallic deposits, which reminded me of how Mars must have looked to the first Earth explorers.
After surveying a sizeable area and surprisingly finding little in the way of deposits, I lifted off, bound for pastures new.
Looking back toward the Colonia nebula, I'm struck one again at the pure beauty out in this region of the galaxy
