Its said that during a life, a man can reach many crossroads. Which path he takes can have far reaching consequences. Some for better.....some for worse. In the space of a year, I have reached two crossroads. Were the decisions I took the right ones..? Who knows.I now find myself alone again....companions and friends I've made left behind me. I've gone back to basics and if I'm honest with myself...it feels good, almost liberating.
I've made contact with all those in my past who are important to me and said my farewells.
Last night I finished the modifications to the ship and departed from Asimov on schedule. With a little tinkering, I've got the DBX up to a respectable 57ly jump range. I'm heading south west across the galactic plane, with my first heading set for the Cave Nebula. The Harmony James carries a proud name and heritage. I only hope I live up to that.
