Upgraded many systems in Brasscoat and was convinced, by a pirate following me for 200,000LS to change my paintjob to the stock Faulcon De Lacy graphite and dark-khaki. Star command accepted my new ship name of "System Patrol Vessel" to help me blend in with traffic.
Contact via FTL-secure-net gave me locations of a crashed ship way out in the Pleiades. Finally I arrived and landed with the SRV. It was controlled by a local research base and I accrued a fine of 10,000cr in disposing of their sentry skimmers. Accessing the data core retrieved some nice data and there was a canister of personal effects that I turned into the Search and Rescue official.
Some time after returning to the bubble Procyon Independents asked me to retrieve bootleg liquor. Swapping in the SRV hangar I went to the planet and all the sentries burst out of concealed hangars as I scooped up two canisters. At range the plasma repeaters took a while to score enough hits on the skimmers clearing my way for the rest. Lo and behold an escape pod with a CMDR inside. They received priority and the last collection was Jadeite, Musgravite and Platinum. As I took off with my haul there was another facility on the sensor screen. I hit it from the air, first, then took the canisters. Felt good to rescue a fellow pilot.
Marco Qwent certainly had me leaping many hurdles to access his services. It was worth it with another remote pinned blueprint for power plants. Now I have a stealth reactor and a monster reactor on file. Turns out Patches, the DBX, has not enough cargo hold for smuggling contracts. A stealth Python build is in order. Meanwhile access to Alioth and Sirius grants me not much extra. I'm off to mine Painite for Selene Jean then with the extra cash a hold full of that will bring donate my way towards a Rear Admiralty at some famine-struck Fed-system. Perhaps a stealth Corvette will be a better choice? Ah, upgrade choices are nice to have. Looking over my cart's I have a concentrated Painite area in a ring at 127 G. CANIS MAJORIS, AB1. Off to confirm that after refitting the python, again.
