Expedition 3 - Bernard's Loop - 210914
14 Sep 2021Sheehy
It's time to head out into the black once more. My trip to Sag A* was very successful. Around 250MCr successful with lots of new discoveries and untouched pristine landscapes. This time I am heading out closer to home. A long time ago, in an Asp, before the Thargoids learned how to block our Hyperspace plots, I visited Barnard's loop and accompanying nebulae. It's time to go back and do a biological survey of the region - those parts that can be reached.
I have a new ship - a 51.75Ly Engineered Explorer Dolphin - TFS Mina's Tears - to help me out. The Star of the East was the luxury yacht, now retired. I have a flashy, new sports car. It drives like one - reckless, fast, small - a single SRV bay. I have yet to lose an SRV, so I am feeling more comfortable about sizing down.
Last stop in the bubble before heading out.
The first system I hit has a Argon world that had not been landed on!
The Journey begins once more.
