Day 12 of the Five Regions Expedition
12 Dec 2022Sheehy
CMDR Sheehy reporting from the Dryman's Reach region of the Galaxy. 12 December 3308The Five Regions Expedition is engaged and steaming ahead with our exploration and discovery of the unknown. One thing we have discovered is that this region has a high density of notable stellar phenomena. These stellar birthplaces are teeming with life amid the void between worlds. Just one of these trees could hold an entire community!
Many of the participants are making their first discoveries. I am no different. This is my first undiscovered neutron star:
Nevertheless, we are looking for something more significant than a personal record. We are after discoveries that could attract others to stop by when travelling through the region.
This might be a good spot to begin with:
It's an interesting system with a Water Giant, the two moons above, and a moon that skims its parent's rings and is guaranteed an eclipse every 19-20 hours because of the parent's low inclination.
We will have to put together a promo video and see what the explorer's council has to say!
The war is now far behind us, and the galaxy has opened up before us.
