Galaxy is in a mess right now

It's been a while again. So much has been happening in the Pleiades area. Thargoids are here. There's been lots of engagements with them and us. At first it seemed like nothing can stop them, but soon Liz Ryder and Dr.Palin came up with missiles and a scanner for Aegis research that evened the playing field a bit.  |  |
Why we need weapons in first place? Well, as soon as we see something we can't understand, we want to shoot it. War is inevitable.
Either way, I was contacted by our good Doctor and he wanted me to visit Palin undetected. To pick up some schematics for Xeno scanners. They are sold in plenty of systems, but Canonn wants all the details.
I picked up my hauler and pretented to be a common freelance trader. Carrying biscuits and whisky to Palin Research base. And it seemed to work out just fine.

He got snacks and drinks, Canonn got specs for the Xeno scanner. As for the AX missiles, I doubt they're going to be too much of a use for research. As for shooting thargoids, they seem to do a fine job.
Word is that Aegis is continuing their weapons research. Project parity they call it. I hope we can advance our tech enough to be able to defend ourselves. No matter what's the reason for war.
P.S. In reality, I just went in to get haulers engines engineered. No real data exchange took place. Just a story
