Officially forming the squadron and our first true journey

So I decided it was high time to officially name our squadron and its been settled. We are now Eternities Embrace small as we are now there's a chance we could grow in number.While Valkyr1e and myself were down at Farseer inc today doing upgrades to our FSD drives and shields, I took a quick break and went down into the mess with some of the local crew on station where I was told of a rumor floating around from other commanders coming into port about a SOS beacon that's been active for a few months after the end of the first war with the goids. I asked why we haven't heard about this beacon and the crew said chances are the major factions were covering it up, so I just had to ask if they overheard the system the beacon was in. The crew gave me the system Hip 12099 with this intel I ended my break and went back to the engineering bay where Valkyr1e was just finishing her shield generator.
I stopped and told Valkyr1e about the rumor I heard and we both agreed we would go check it out while Coren was stuck back at home port because his FSD cant handle the journey. So we went back into the cockpits of our ships and took off to begin our journey 12 jumps out to get there. once we arrived in Hip 12099 I was taken by surprise to see how many fleet carriers were out here but there it was the SOS signal from a vessel I hadn't seen on any registries The Jameson, it was down on a low grav rocky moon just off a gas giant, coming in was easy but landing was a pain there just wasn't enough flat ground around it to land close by to walk to the crash so we landed a few kilometers and jumped in control of the SRV's then headed over to the crashed ship. I was surprised it was a cobra MK3 and the logs on board were rather disturbing to hear and then I saw the cargo manifest this was the vessel that sent the goids packing during the first war with them. This man should have been a hero but instead the Major faction that sent him out dropped him out of space the dirty bastards. we went back and boarded our ships i think we may spend the night here before heading back to Boole to reconnect with Coren.
