Once you get the correct combination of Guardian artifacts, scanning one of their obelisks takes only a few seconds. It's a miracle that some of them remain functional after, what, millions of years? The last active group yielded some language data packages. I checked them off my list, then reviewed: still seventy-something data packets left to go, and eight more systems to visit.
Since I was out in Guardian space, I took the opportunity to collect materials and data to unlock some blueprints. Along the route I found some Guardian Beacons: the one in orbit around NGC 2451A Sector RT-R c4-19 2 was the first one I ever saw. It put up one hell of a light show once I activated it to retrieve its Ancient Key.
I ended up visiting two more beacons, and collected enough Guardian Vessel Blueprints after that to unlock all variants of Ram Tah's Guardian hybrid fighters.

I hardly slept throughout the week, shot more Guardian Sentinels than I cared to count, and filled up my hold with Guardian loot. But today, on the surface of Synuefe LY-I b42-2 C 2, I found the last data package I needed to complete Ram's laundry list.
Nearby, on the Synuefe KU-F B44-4 system, I was able to sell the content of my cargo hold (an assortment of Guardian Totems, Orbs, Caskets) at the fleet carrier ISTS Interstellar, which paid a nice price for the whole lot. Then, back to Meene to deliver the data and, to my great pleasure, find that the Pilots Federation had finally granted me the title of Elite Explorer. Nice.
