Out in the black

Commander Aza Lakoma's log entrie 1:Well today was the day, finally, the Odyssey Expidition finally left on its 6 month journey into the black, I took the first carrier out, the Flux Copacitor. I just couldn't wait to get out here in the black again, to see the new sights, discover something new. Test a new build. Yes you heard right, a new build. I couldn't decided between my krait phantom or my conda I've been working on for several months now. So far its done well, needs lots of improvements but I am loving the direction its taking. Unlike most, I didn't go for the highest jump range I could with it, still don't plan to either. Instead I put in some extra fuel tanks, totalling it out at 160 tons! Its already come in handy. I went through several chains of unscoopable stars, which were almost all undiscovered by other commanders, without having to worry about the fuel. So far its more than payed for itself in my eyes. After the expidition I plan on getting the conda finallized, few modules switched out, engineers to finish up on it and get ready for a much longer journey in the black. For now I've parked and plan to get some shut eye before finishing my way to the next waypoint, and the next discovery, tomorrow.
