CMDRs Log -- 3307-04-08 -- Tyrenok -- MM-0ET -- HIP 110248, Glass LandingA productive evening. We decided to take the scenic route to HIP 110248 and our new home, after 49 jumps in the Reichardt using economic routing, I slipped the her onto a berth at Glass, and offloaded the wife and children to our new apartment. It's small. Smaller in fact than the total living quarters on the Reichardt. This suits us fine, as a Fleet Carrier may be on the horizon for the Mallardi family soon. The children like the cozy accommodations.
I spent the evening flying back and forth to Hajangai, bringing the Tyrenok and Irshikazum home. Once that was done, I immediately began receiving orders from the Accord to help improve our standing within the system. Several pirates downed, and four loads of critical cargo delivered to the immediate neighborhood before shutting everything down. Glass Landing is lovely, lots of yellows and browns, almost like the docking bay of an asteroid station you may find beyond the frontier. The station is situated inside the rings of the planet it orbits, and presents a lovely welcoming sight every time we supercruise toward it.
My plans for now are to bring over one or two ships a day, starting with the ships that will take the longest and continue with the standing orders, though a conflict may be brewing here.
I also spent the evening thinking about the past. I'll miss folks like Michael and Kik, but I'm sure that I'll see them all again. It was not an end. A new beginning. A new Home. What was necessary. Now it's time to start thinking about the future...
