Mission Log, SOL date 15/08/3302I have decided to move a little closer to my milestone objective and came across a nice system with nothing discovered. It's my time to shine bright and claim all this data for my own.
Mayday, mayday!! Critical systems damaged, hull breach detected!!!
I have crash landed on a planet, systems damaged at the moment so unable to send a deep space distress signal. Life support systems intact, most modules functional, at least I have a few AFMs on me. Hull integrity down to 19%
How could I be so stupid!!! Closer look at my flight logs detected a flight control malfunction due to lack of concentration while landing on a rocky body planet, I am lucky to be alive.
I will remain here and continue repairs for awhile, oh Jacques Station is needed now but I'm still over 20kLY away from it, exact calculations cannot be determined until all systems are back online.
I will make it to the Soul Nebula but I feel planet landings will have to be avoided from now on until ship is fixed. For now I have set the internals computers to stationary space dockings, artificial gravity systems have not taken any damage so it will remain comfortable.
I will continue to broadcast my distress signal encase some other Commander can assist me.
