Journey to SAG A - Arrival

Mission Log, SOL date 10/03/3303.

I have only 2900ly to go, so i set off to complete this journey tonight. I have decided to continue to honk and scan on all systems as i pass through them but will only stop to scan the planets if they are water worlds or another Earth like or an exceptionally beautiful looking system.

I have cleared off 1000ly again and the clock has struck forward to the next day .

Mission Log, SOL date 11/03/3303.

I now only have 800ly to go, i can feel the end but as i'm now in the centre i noticed something that i don't know why i didn't think would be the case.

As I exit my ship in my external camera drone i have a look ahead and see a thick white band of stars showing me the edge of the Galaxy however as I pan the camera around I get an eerie feeling. The white band of stars are now circling me around, i am truly in the middle of our galaxy and everything now feels so far away.

A few photos and videos later and i head onto my final destination, Sag A.

I have arrived!!! OMG i have arrived and it is amazing, beautiful and terrifying all at the same time. I'm moving so slowly towards it now and taking an immense amount of data recording for my journey home. I noticed a location on my navigation panel and I think it might be a tourist beacon so slowly i head on over to it. By this point i decided to broadcast visual sensors back towards the bubble, streaming technology in 3303 has come along way.

MAYDAY!! MAYDAY OMG HEAT DAMAGE ESCALATING MODULES POPPING ALL OVER THE PLACE

I quickly abort my target, turn around and head in the opposite direction, frantically turning on my heat sink module and popping a heat sink. Oh thank god only minor damage to modules no hull damage and no data loss, that was too close.

The hungry Black Hole nearly had me for dinner, I had already lost a comrade CMDR EXE SESSER to the BH, not me, not today.

I took a different route and made it to the beacon surprised to see other ships there that was a wonderful site.

By this point i disconnected my transmission and decided to stay here for awhile, far away enough so that i don't get pulled into the black hole while I sleep, ohh living dangerously I am.

Next i will begin my long travel back to the bubble, but not yet, not yet.

CMDR LtEvildead, Out.
