Trail of Breadcrumbs II - Tourism around Lave

I have plotted a route of 14 jumps to Chukchan, which would leave me on the edge of the bubble and includes a terrifying leap of faith into non bubble space for the first time. However, I only managed 8 of them today.I visited my first set of tourist beacons in the Lave system. I am woefully unknowledgeable of the history of space exploration of the galaxy, so reading about old Lave, the Thargoids, and the dictatorship was interesting. I wonder why the first encounter with the aliens was all the way up here, when the majority of incursions now appear to be coming from below the bubble? Also found an unregistered transmitter- this must be where Lave Radio beams from. I've started listening.
A few jumps later saw me stumble on my first white dwarf system. I confess I don't look at the galactic map as carefully as I should, so it was a pleasant surprise to see one in system. I couldn't help but cruise up to it and take some pictures.
Also visually pleasing was the class v gas giant in Ereshkigal. It needed a whopping 22 probes to scan, and it's a dramatically close orbit around its star.
I'm sure for many commanders this is all very humdrum, but as it's the first time I've seen these sights, I hope you don't mind watching a new one discover them for the first time.
All this swooping around in the name of tourism and the occasional surface scan put a damper on my travel rate, not to mention the occasional surface scan. Amijangal was a system with several high metal content bodies which I decided were worth my time. I fought off 2 interdiction attempts today, unsurprising considering I was passing through several resource extraction systems by the looks of things, and one conflict zone (my curiosity did not get the better of me there). Therefore I have put in at Schirra Mines in Sheroo. Hopefully I'll remember to scan the system before moving on.
