Made it to the Center of the Galaxy!

Three months after leaving the Bubble and my home port of Ito Orbital in Rhea I arrived late last night to SagA*! I arrived via Colonia, where I spent an enjoyable month and a half exploring the wonders of the outer reaches. Took me under a week to traverse the final leg from Colonia to SagA*. I chose to jump via conventional stars as opposed to using the Neutron Superhighway. Didn’t find any earth-type planets but still did a lot of exploring. Discovered numerous previously uncharted systems and mapped a number of water worlds. Now enjoying the hospitality of Explorer’s Anchorage before heading back into the great unknown and home. I’m tempted to head to Beagle Point, but my family is waiting for me back in Rhea. My son has asked me to purchase a Cobra MkIII for him so he can start his own career as a pilot, so I’m plotting a course home that will swing me through the Arcadian Stream instead of straight through Norma Arm.
Final note: I started and completed my journey from Colonia to SagA* before the Fleet Carriers came on station. It was a pleasant surprise to arrive at SagA* and see these beautiful ships dotting the landscape. I will definitely use them on my way home, but I may have been one of the last pilots to traverse the route from Colonia to SagA* completely on my own! :-)
