Day 5 - Deep Dark

Well it's the wife's birthday today, so Real life will curtail my adventures somewhat. However I am approaching the last of the S171 systems and thanks to my Flight logs I can now make sure that I haven't missed any out .I will stick to my plan about heading along this arm of the galactic spiral, but details might be sketchy for security reasons. I will hopefully be first discoverer on many systems, but only if I get the data back first! I don't want any unscrupulous opportunist sneaking along behind me, stealing my data.
Let's talk tactics here. Is it more efficient to scan every planet, every moon, every star in a system, or just scan from the entry point and any interesting planets seen on local system map?
I just can't see myself being that dedicated to scan worthless icy rocks for a few measly credits that might take me 15 minutes or more. Better to keep moving, looking for easy credits covering more space. I know this is controversial, but I think I will "play it my way".
