Getting bored with the grind

I have made a lot of money with my grind, and my primary route has dried up. I have started using my secondary route which has better prices but takes more time.I am starting to get itchy feet, and feel the desire to explore the core growing every day. I think I will need to give in to my curiosity and see what's out there. I will need to transfer from Fat Boy to my Asp Explorer, and was tweaking with some set-ups and will make those minor adjustments to get around 34 LY jumps. I was toying with the idea of getting my Conda explore ready and could get around 40 LY but decided against it as its lack of manoeuvrability would start to become a pain.
At 85% Ranger just now, I will definitely get a promotion, but can I get two? Just how many systems will I need to visit to accomplish that feat? Only one way to find out I suppose.
I will continue the grind for a day or so until I finally make the decision to go... But I'm fairly confident it will be sooner rather than later.
