To the core and back - Day 1

Having thought long and hard about it I finally decided to head to the core and see sag A* and explore a wee bit.I set my Asp up to have a jump of 34 Ly when fully laden, which should meet my needs nicely. I considered taking my Anaconda out, as I could get a jump range of about 39 Ly with it, but its general lack of manoeverability and high rebuy cost put me off.
Anyway, I have done the first 1000 Ly or so, without any surface scans. Once at the core I will take some time on my way back to scan anything that looks vaguely interesting. I hope to be home sometime towards the end of september, but I have no fixed timeline and am prepared to stretch that if needed.
