Out in the Void once more....

So, been quite busy the last few months, we got some new tools, both for Mining and Exploration. Made mining a lot more profitable as it opened up a lot more commodities for trade. Done about 2 or 3 mining runs, almost exclusively mining for Void Opals, as they are the bestselling commodity at this time. Went out in my trusty python and made about 500 million credits from these 3 runs… it’s insane. However cracking asteroids became a little old and boring so I decided to leave mining for a bit and go out exploring again after reading about it in the latest issue of Sagittarius Eye. It was an item about the Monoceros Constellation.

After about 50 or so jumps I finally made it to the first stop described in the article. And it is quite the extra ordinary system. A massive red giant as its main star. Next stop is going to be the Cone nebula. And so I plan on hopping along the entire constellation of possible. I had to skirt around the locked Cone sector to reach it.

But before I can move on to my next stop I have to take a look at the control stick of my Krait Phantom, which I have currently set up for exploration. My trusty DBX has a better jump range, but does not have the internal space needed for all the modules. However, after a run in with a 3G planet and almost pancaking the Krait the Yaw control is slightly out of whack. I have repaired the ship’s externals thanks to a bunch of repair limpets I took with me. But the stick is still acting up. I hope I can fix it here while parked on a planet in Hades Edge. I’d be sad to ‘limp’ back to the bubble to get it fixed.
I better get back to it, luckily I got rations for weeks. So should be fine.
