HP Lovecraft said that Blackness from the Stars is an immobile blob of living, sentient darkness, torn from the primal fabric of the cosmos at the centre of the universe. It is distinguishable in darkness only as vaguely shimmering oily pitch. Although intelligent, it speaks no known language and ignores attempts to communicate.I try, I try communicate with it as I gaze through and beyond the stars in a vain hope that guidance will be forthcoming on my imminent travels.
No voice comes, no language is forthcoming except the ever stranger noises associated to the ever present Thargoid threat. I look forward to eventually facing down one of these, but as I turn my attention to the scanners......I see more monoliths ahead and Ram Tah will be appeased......Ski Out.
