HIP 20492 Thargoid War

Commander's Log 21 January 3309.....War has come to our borders in system HIP 20492 with the bugs arriving in numbers. We lost a lot of ships and planetary colonies have been evacuated to safety. Moresby Station is holding on as hard as it can, with the help of individual privateers from the Pilot's Federation along with the boys from the Argus Defense Fleet. We are pushing them back, slowly, but not without great losses.
Scored around 400 scouts killed today, before the Hydras showed up. Those things are massive and menacing. Definitely can't do this with the AX weaponry available right now. I need guardian tech. If I could get me hands on some of those Gauss Rails and Shard Cannons, I would be able to put dents in their numbers.
