Call for Explorers - Galactic Expedition

CMDR Erimus posted a call for explorers to set out on a massive expedition across our galaxy to gather large amounts of data on distant planets and a search for alien life. This is a huge undertaking and one that requires some consideration and preparation. There is time to make a decision on whether to join the expedition and if decided, to make sure I have all of the necessary equipment to make it a successful journey.So far, 176 CMDRs have been confirmed to be participating in this incredible adventure of our Milky Way Galaxy.
The journey will take a minimum of 9 weeks, the majority of which will be in uninhabited space, with only the expedition members to help in case of emergency. I would have to suspend all trading during this time and prepare a new ship for the journey. It may be worth it, but it is something I will have to think hard about. The journey will be amazing fun and the chance to discover new worlds is a big pull.
In order to pull this off by the projected starting date of mid-January I would need:
A ship capable of at least 34LY standard jump range
A ship capable of carrying 2 SRVs in case of catastrophic events

Auto-field Maintenance Unit in case of catastrophic events
Small cargo hold, because you never know what we may find out there in the void
Planetary materials for synthesis re-fueling, restocking ammo, repairing SRV
Planetary materials for synthesis FSD boost for ship (could do without if I am able to outfit a decent jump range ship)
Such an exciting time in the history of our galaxy. I want to be a part of that history!
