Return from The Black

It's been a great deal of time since my last commander's log. I took off from the bubble in my mostly engineered Diamondback Explorer, Zoroaster, to look for the Scrivener Clan Ship that took off from The Hesperus. Somewhere along the way, my wanderlust took over and I made my way to Colonia exploring various nebula and points of interest along the way. I found Colonia to be lacking a certain level of appeal, and did not remain there long. Perhaps I was missing the law established by the Empire. From Colonia, the center of the galaxy appeared very close, so I took off once more in the Zoroaster for Sagittarius*. That may have been a mistake. Somewhere along the way, my ship suffered a massive failure and I was placed in a cryo-sleep for the sake of resources until I was rescued or my ship systems could recover and reboot.
I ultimately was in cryo-sleep for something like 2 years before everything came back online. I awoke somewhere between Colonia and Sagittarius*, and continued on my journey. It seems that while I was cold, the Thargoids have attacked the Bubble and there seem to be Thargoid 'Titans' engaged in a full scale invasion. The Thargoids are of course a threat, but I'm no Anti-Xeno pilot. That's always taken a special kind of pilot to tackle them. The Thargoids are of course an urgent problem, but I was so far in the black and without an AFMU, I was unable to effectively hurry back.
With all this in mind, I was able to utilize the DSSA Fleet Carriers to neutron jump as much as possible to make my way quickly back to the Bubble. I limped my way back to Kamadhenu to regroup my ships and learn what I can about the status of the Thargoid War and what part I can play.
With the Hammad Titan being taken down, it seems like my role could be bringing supplies to damaged stations and rescuing people from Stations being invaded. I'm still gathering the chatter on what's needed. My return has been hectic, but I'm back in the Bubble to help with the effort in the Thargoid War.
