Begin Commander's Log 1630HRSAfter a nearly tragic encounter with a crew of pirates, I have put in at Barba Ring in LP 355-65 for emergency repairs. Once those are complete, I intend to take the Mjolnir to Jameson Memorial Station in Shinrarta Dezhra for upgrade and retrofitting.
In the weeks since taking command of this Anaconda class vessel, I have conducted a vigorous and exhaustive shakedown, and I now feel that she is ready to begin her primary mission: the exploration of the unknown and lesser known regions of our galaxy. I have received word from our primary dry dock facility at Jameson that they expect to have made sufficient preparations to equip the Mjolnir with a hanger bay module for several Scarab class Surface Reconnaissance Vehicles by sometime tomorrow. I had requested this upgrade some months ago, but an upsurge in exploration expeditions leaving human occupied space caused a rather severe backlog of the necessary materials.
I shall report immediately to Jameson and conduct the initial upgrades. While awaiting the final phase of our mission preparation, I shall begin plotting my course into unclaimed territory.
