Elite Dangerous - And so, after reading the book (All Tomorrows) There are thoughts similarities between the book and the game. The similarity is not 100%, but in my opinion they are, since in the book the Earthlings started from Mars.
I don’t know what this may be connected with, but if you disassemble and turn on your imagination and fantasy, you can see a picture like this.
There are people in the book
they are also in the game, the Guardian Race - according to the book they can be considered as the Colonial race, because it was according to the book that they rebuffed the invaders twice, and only the third time they managed to conquer them.
After that, they got the most terrible fate. Though they didn't disappear as Guardians.
Although who knows, maybe the guards are sitting somewhere else.
According to the book Rasa-Ku-
were nomads wandering the galaxy, in our case it was the Thargoids. And they also entered the battle with the Colonial race.
Although there may be other species instead. But for some reason, this particular species seemed more suitable to me, perhaps due to the fact that they fought back and fought to the last.
I have a couple of questions,
and whether David Braben read the book itself.
It's just that there are so many coincidences out there that it can't be just a coincidence. Take also, for a simple example, the view from the book -Ghosts of the Ruins- according to the book after millions of years after the invasion of the race -Ku-
This species has left ancient ruins and technologies.
This is another species that could be saved as Guardians.
And there are a lot of such coincidences, it will take not a single week to bring everything together and connect all the threads between the book and the game.
Or maybe it's just my fantasy, but no matter how interesting it is to fantasize, the main thing is that the fantasy remains within the aisles of the reasonable, and does not cross the line.
