[RP] The Beginning (3306 Expedition)

Galactic Date: 22083306 -Yesterday, I set off from Jameson Memorial. I am setting off on circum-galactic journey to put my name into the Astrometrics books. Today, I discovered a wonderful system full of ringed planets, a gas giant with ammonia based life and a terraformable high metal content world. So many undiscovered systems are in this particular area of space. I am not even 10kly into my expedition and this success is invigorating. There is a quality of adventure that is fundamentally tantalizing to the human spirit. Our ancestors understood that to survive meant you had to explore. I don't believe that is necessarily true of just our species but of our individual selves. Our spirit needs adventure to survive, I believe this more than ever.
