HUMBLE SPACER 30 JULE 3306 (space hygiene)

Me, a humble spacer, I'm not used to luxury at all. Clean and sparkling interiors make me somewhat uneasy. I am not too demanding a fella. Solid steel, a drop or too of grease here and there, a smell of heated plastic - those are okay with me. Rusty and dirty spacecrafts, with mice and rats in the service tunnels, bantha Once I had three cats with me to keep rodents at bay. The ship was literally infested with rats and thay made a habit of gnawing power cables. Some were electrocuted and a smell of burned pelt lingered for days. The cats did well against them. I counted about a dozen of rat tails one day. It's good to have companions on long journeys. Even if all they say is "meow".
Now, I recently came into possession of a fine vessel - Krait Phantom. Quite a large barge I must say, and capacious, too. And a glistening of polished floors and impeccable clean walls and soft light flooding the halls! I just stood there for a minute scratching my head - how was I supposed to keep up this unbelievable tidiness? Almost decided to back down from the deal.
And then I noticed it! The bar! Tucked in a corner in the back! I couldn't believe my eyes: there were liquors from all over the bubble. Imperial stuff, too. Top notch liquids to please a most demanding palate. Only didn't find a homemade booze I was most attached to. Well, I would have to make do without that, I though while having a taste of everything I found.
