Interstellar Factor Agent's got Jokes

"C'mon, hold together." I pulled through the mail slot and touched down at Viktorenko Holdings. I disembarked and made my way over to the interstellar factors that were present here. I took a number and sat down. That last mission definitely could have gone better. "Number 37." That was me. I stood up and made my way over to the agent and let out a heavy sigh."Storm! How ya doing old pal?" It was Phillip. Why do I always seem to get this wise cracking guy every time I need to turn in bounties. "Hey Phil" I responded dryly.
"You bag a big one this time?"
"I don't want to talk about it."
"Oh really?" he leaned forward on an elbow with he biggest sarcastic grin I have ever seen. "What was it? An Anaconda? A Federal Corvette even? Your Diamondback Explorer seemed pretty battered when I saw it land."
"I said I don't want to talk about."
"That's ok. Let's just see what bounties you have to turn in...oh look at that," he said over dramatically. "A bounty on you? Man, what did you do now?"
"I don't have to tell you anything. Just pay the bounty and let me get on my way."
Phil didn't move a muscle. "Based on the damage I saw on your ship, it'll take a hot minute to fix it." He stared directly at me, never losing his grin.
I let out a heavy sigh. "My mission was to scan a data beacon and delivery some financial data."
"Mhmm." Phil responded like a gossipy school girl. This guy had such a punchable face.
"I opted to scan the beacon from the ship. As I turned the ship to leave, the tail got stuck on a pole. Then security started blasting. I barely got the tail free and escaped."
Phil burst out laughing. "Is that all? The great bounty hunter Storm Grezal was almost done in because he got his tail stuck on a pole while trespassing? That's rich."
"Just pay off the damn bounty already."
"I will," Phil responded between laughs. "Alright, that should do it. Anything else I can do for you?" Phil put on his best insincere sincere smile.
"No Phil, That's quite enough. I will take my leave now." I got up and started to leave.
"I'll see ya soon Storm!" Phil called after me.
"Bugger off." I knew he was right, but I did not want to give him that satisfaction.
