Painite is a pain

Once upon a time, there was a buy offer for painite for nearly a million. 970.000 Credits per ton, you say? I already have quite a nice credits cushion for re-buys, there is no large investment I plan to make ... but hey, nearly a million credits is something that cannot just be ignored, right? Like a morning boner. You don't ignore a morning boner. You gotta take care of this wood. So I gotta take care of the nearly a million credits for a ton of painite. So I hopped into my trusty small-scale miner Python and mined 200 tonnes of painite. I forgot how tiring mining was, but hey, nearly a million per ton! It was a chore, but finally done. Sometimes you gotta care for that wood, you know? Well, that million per ton was the carrot dangling in front of my greedy eyes. Docked at the nearest station and hopped into my more robust trader Python. Jumped half across the bubble and docked at the station giving that high price.
Wanted to sell.
Got an offer for 200.000 Cr.
What. The. Morningwood?
Why?
Why did the station lower the price in the meantime while I was jumping across the galaxy?
There's just one explanation.
The Background simulation wants to kill my credit-boner. In the nasty way. Not the satisfactory way.
Now I'm sitting with my blue balls python full of unsold painite in one corner of the galaxy, the next market with a half reasonable price on the other side of the galaxy ... dammit.
