Thargoids and the wreck

So a wreck has been found, an alien wreck that looks like it could have been there for years. Judging by the recurrence of the number 8, I can say with a good degree of certainty that it's a thargoid ship . However, I think that everyone's making a bigger deal over it than it really is. While that wreck is certainly amazing and worthy of being studied, I don't think it's evidence of an impending alien invasion. The wreck looks withered and dead, and it's hard to say exactly how long it's been there given that there's no weather, but judging by the size and the fact that the entire thing is withered, and that there's no heat as evidenced by it not showing up on the scanner, I believe it's been there for a few years at least, possibly even decades or centuries. My guess is that it's left over from the thargoid war, a ship got infected with the virus and fell from about a kilometer or less up due to the lack of an impact crater. The ship is interesting, but if there is some kind of invasion coming, the crashed ship isn't evidence of it. I think it's been there for centuries and is just dead. I have heard what sounds like singing near it though, which is creepy to say the least, and is concerning as to what could be lurking around the wreck. We're not alone in our cosmic neighborhood, but there's some caution to be had, we might not like our neighbors or they might not like us. Fly safe out there, and at the first flicker of green light you run.
