Commander's Log, Pathfinder PurpleGranite reporting - 15-Nov-3302, 20:30After a short layover, we have reached Waypoint Alpha. Our co-ordinates are [-338.813,499.188,382.094], an unremarkable yellow star with about as much charm as an attack by a heard of angry slash lizards!
What am I doing? Is there a point to this endeavour, other than escape - oh, and the small matter of 93 million credits? Escape from desolate emptiness of the heart by fleeing into the desolate emptiness of space may not have been wise. Through the monotony of simply jumping and scanning, I have more time than ever before to think ... perhaps I should have just hunted down a team of elite pilots flying high-end anaconda's and ended my pain quickly.
But, a contract is a contract ... must press onwards ... route plotted to Waypoint Bravo ... Jump-Scoop-Scan-Repeat (reminds me of an ancient Earth 'movie' I heard about - perhaps I'll see if it's in the databanks to while away the time).
