The Search for Life #36

Captain's log star date December 12, 3306 08:003 and a half days, that's how long It actually took us to get the ship repaired enough to be flightworthy. It is still not 100% but it was good enough to get us back to the carrier. The crew on the antelope will get it back up to 100%. We figure it will be at least another 3 days to fix everything. Currently time is not a big issue, as today is the last day of this epic Expedition.
With the mission over we and a return home a must for us, there are 3 was back, we can fly it, but its 15kLY and nearly 300 jumps, about 3 weeks time. With the ship in its current condition I do not think it would make it back. We could stay with the ship on the carrier, as it will be leaving tomorrow for the bubble, and will be arriving there late next week. The third option, which is the one we went with was a mass transport hauler, that was prepped for the return. This hauler (which there are 7 of) will be taking crews back to the bubble. Our shuttle departs in 30 minutes, and the estimated flight time is 41 Hours.
Once we arrive back home, and a day or to to settle back into bubble life, We will be starting our next mission, Getting the Carrier. This will be a lengthy process to gain enough cash for it. We will mainly be mining, and taking some missions out of Varati. But more on that in a few days.
And we are on our way home. Next report from the bubble.
