05 Jan 2021Rsassman
Captains log, Star date January 4, 3307 18:05We have been on patrol here in HR 1183 for 2 full days, out patrol route has turned of very little AX activity. Just a couple of bugs here and there. With the activity much lighter than expected here, Command has issued new orders to several ships in the fleet. breaking the heavy fleet up and spreading us all out covering a mush wider sector of the Border. Our mission will now be to patrol in the PLEIADES SECTOR, just on the border of Thargoid and human space.
We are currently on the antelope, and preparing to head to the new new area just as soon as we receive our station and are fully resupplied.

Order detail update:
We have been assigned to Pleiades Resource Enterprise With Headquarters in the Obsidian orbital starport in Maia. This is a nice operation for us to be involved with at this time as there should be many support missions hear during times of little or no combat missions. Our setup there may be a bit costly at first, but lots of opportunity's to build our cash flow as this war progresses. We will be departing at 18:55 for the base. Travel time is about 20 minutes. unless we encounter any resistance.
19:30
We have arrived at base. The first part of the trip went as planned, as we moved closer to our destination we were slowed by Thargoid scouts. We had expected to possibly run into them along the way. Once docked we contacted the hanger chief, and made arrangements for Transporting another of our combat ships ti the station. Once that was done We met With a flight leader, and battel coordinator Andy Field. after a brief rundown of the situation that is going on here, we advised him of all the Activity we scanned on our way here.
He then informed us we will have the evening to ourselves, to get familiar with the station and crew. Then to get some rest, as we will begin running missions in the morning. We will receive a detailed report and missions in tomorrows briefing.

A bit of file upkeep was taken care of updating everything to this point in our logs and systems. After that we had dinner in the crew lounge. Then a tour of the station and its facility's, before taking a short check out flight around the station, Prior to turning in for the evening. I feel tomorrow is going to be very exhausting.
