Logbook Entry Two: A New Purpose

This is Okinawa-Gaijin,logbook entry two. I've taken the step. Leaving Attacates, I set out for HIP 35211, which is currently under Arissa Lavigny-Duval's control. Arriving at Paul Terminal, I received a warm welcome as a loyal pilot of the empire. I contacted Arissa's agents to declare my loyalty towards her cause.
Of course, this meant "defecting" from Aisling and her network. Ironic, that I'm the one who will be branded a traitor for this. I value the empire above all else. I'm resolute. I've also contacted a representative of Lavigny's Legion, stating the purpose of my arrival and pledging myself to serve under their banner. After following the initiation, they have provided intel for me to help support their current cause.
I immediately loaded up my cargo hold and set out to [REDACTED] in order to deliver the supplies, always keeping an eye out for Aisling's Adjusters. They tailed me once, but I shook them off before they got any close. They'll quickly give up the hunt, I'm sure.
So here I am, taking a huge step towards politics, right into the turmoil. My ship can hold its own in a fight, and I'm prepared. However, we are still in need of supplies to fortify and secure our positions. So I will stick behind the frontlines for now and make supply runs for mission-critical equipment and reports.
With a new purpose, space feels less empty. And now that I'm a committed part of our current war efforts, I've become a bigger target for these terrorists. So their cutthroats and mercenaries will fill the last part of that void. Let them come, I say.
