Well, I normally don't keep up on a detailed logbook, but it seems like a prudent idea now. I've done it! I've left the noise behind. I've left the bitter politicking, the needless strife, and all the hustle and bustle behind in the Bubble. Joined up with a group trying to make their own way out in the black and build their own bubble of sorts. A rugged frontier so to speak. Its called the Azure Initiative and while I brought myself out here with the intention of assisting in ground operations mainly exploration and exobiology, there is a powerful need for miners. It runs in the family so how could I say no?So here we are, on the bridge of a shiny new Anaconda, floating amongst the icy rocks. I've been asked to help get Azure's mining and resource operations organized a bit more. How could I say no? I suppose as long as I still get a good ground mission here and there, it sounds like a great gig. In keeping with my fascination with ancient spiritual lore, I've decided to name this ship Sif's Bounty as Sif was the Norse goddess of the harvest, among other things.
Finally, I will be naming and organizing a mining wing to keep Azure's resources flowing on a more regular basis. Still thinking over an actual name, but with the core pilots that live out here and potential miners passing through, we should be able to get this operation off the ground. All in all, the expanse out here is a beautiful place to live.
