Log 3: A Bounty Hunter

My first log entry chronicled both my past and my inner conflicts about fighting; well, that came up again recently.A few days ago a few of my newest friends offered to take me mining; now, I couldn't stand the thought. Even just the word "mining" makes me shudder, and relive a thousand memories and emotions. I would have flat out refused had the pay not been so damn good; 958 thousand credits per ton of painite. And I found that, much to my surprise, asteroid mining in a space ship is....kind of relaxing? And all of the profits are mine, and not anyone else's.
So, I wound up buying some new ships, and they've ended up becoming combat ships. I've found myself in the company of a number of freelance mercenary and other combat types, and I'm starting to realize that I enjoy this kind of thing. The adrenaline rush of pulling around on your target, firung, zooming to the next one.....I'm developing a bit of a reputation as a bounty hunter, prowling resource extraction sites and nav beacons for criminal ships, and even giving chase and hunting them in a station.
So I bought a Mamba, both because it looks sleek and cool and menacing, and because it's got the chops to back it up. Omen is a bit sluggish in turns, but I bet Felicity can help me tune that out.
