Log 15: Insanity and Salvation

A lot has happened since my last log; I flew in an expedition, the thargoids returned, Salvation rose up from obscurity.I have been incredibly busy, too busy to make any logs; besides, due to the nature of my current line of work, I felt it best to be careful about how much I share about my activities. I have joined a clandestine operation calling itself "Operation Wych Hunt", a group that has one purpose: to stop Salvation and Azimuth wherever possible. I feel comfortable making this log now that our activities have gained a lot of public traction and attention, both good and bad.
I haven't been with this operation from its inception, but I have been here for all of our successes, starting with the victories in Merope; I fought, and worked hard, using my connections to explorer guilds, mercenary groups, and bounty hunters, to help set the stage for Azimuth's downfall, alongside hundreds of other commanders doing the same thing. We worked with the local factions, enticed by the promise of having one less competitor in their systems, to takeover Azimuth's holdings in Merope and Qarato, eventually kicking them out entirely and letting the local factions seize their assets.
I fought on the front lines in T Tauri, Azimuth's home system itself, in a bid to eliminate them forever; however, here, we met with intense fighting and security. While Azimuth has proven to be reasonably easy to remove from the other system it held assets in, it seems they do at least care about their home system enough to maintain solid security.
Right now, we are fighting and working Maia; we are close to victory there, even as Salvation announces an initiative to gather resources so that Azimuth can attempt to rebuild their labs in the hopes of studying thargoid wrecks.
I promise that wherever Azimuth try to set up shop, I will be there, working tirelessly to remove this cancer from the galaxy.
Salvation, we can save ourselves.
