Out into the black, sort of. Day 1

Well, I've started a trip into the black. It won't be a big trip just need to get 5K ly from the starting point to open some engineers. So the Big Girl and I will do around 5k out, then back. I'll mix a little exploring into this also. First rest stop in the black on a planet I was first to map if I can get the data turned in.Also with all the talk about the top of the galaxy, I'm on my way to the basement.
