Going for Elite

I set this goal back in December 3306. To get to be an Elite ranked trader including trading all of the rare goods. Making sure to deliver at least 1 tonne of the rare goods to my home base, The Tavern. I knew that it was ambitious but it would be fun. I was only ranked as a Broker when I started.As it turned out, it was even harder than I thought. 7 of the rare trades were not available due to local government restrictions. Another 3 were in restricted systems that I need to get permits for. Some of them were considered illegal in 59 Virginis so they would have to be smuggled in.
None of that deterred me though. I'm now only missing 6 rare goods, as I got the system permits and 1 of those that were no longer available, became available. Now after all of these goods, I'm ranked Entrepreneur and still at least 80 mil Cr short of being given the title of Tycoon.
I did think that trading this way would be the quickest way to make it too elite, but no. It is only something that makes that slog, that grind a little more interesting. Even though I have traded almost all of the rare trades, I have not completed my goal. Now I will just have to grind to become elite for the second time.
