PTN participation in the Colonia Bridge project phase 4

11 Mar 2022Netchild
In request from the Brewer corporation last week to help in delivering commodities to extend the star ports of the colonia bridge, the P.T.N. off course helped. Not only for the profits (18kCr/t - 25kCr/t on load/unload of the carriers) for the haulers, but also for the greater good of a well supported Colonia Bridge.

We came up with 13 carriers -- 10 official P.T.N. carriers and 3 of our affiliate carriers -- which have run multiple load/unload cycles. Numerous independent commanders helped to load and unload those 13 carriers. One carrier even went to Colonia to support that side of the bridge project.

The top 3 commanders, in charge of 5 of the P.T.N. carriers which delivered the most commodities, are Cmdr Clockdistrict with 326kt (new holder of the record for the number of loading and unloading missions within 24h and the record of total number of missions in a CG), Cmdr Sheriff Benguin with 307kt, and Cmdr Sheriff Austin with 267kt. My 2 carriers delivered 198kt.

In total we contributed 1,354kt of commodities. This means we distributed 55.5 billions of profits to hour haulers. Rough estimates are about 4 billions to the carriers (most probably less than that), and 51.5 billions to the haulers. And not to forget, also a fully equipped hauling-T9 was sponsored to a new commander which arrived for hauling in a Python.

A part of the huge support for the colonia bridge project was surely also the offers from the Pilots Federation to the top 10 commanders with the highest contribution to the project to honor thier name in the project. According to some independent statistics, the #10 delivered 162,868t alone. Number 1 delivered 259,948t. Several times during the phase 4 I was personally in the first place, e.g. 6h before the end. This was a huge effort and with 2 carriers to manage at the same time, the body wanted to have some sleep too. So while I was defining the top 1 position with about 18kt before the #2, in the end I had 248,337t delivered and was declassified by about 10.5kt 1h before the end.

With the distances to fly in Alcor to deliver to the station, it was not possible to catch up and I decided to take a well needed rest. Top 1 would have been a personal satisfaction, but in the end, beeing in the top 10 of 8599 contributors is a huge achievement on its own. And hey, we're talking about 5.2 billions of profits for myself here. So no need to complain about that.

The crews of my 2 carriers are getting a well deserved rest at the moment. One of them is serving as a mobile base for the P.T.N. guardian-unlock event. The crew can relax while independent commanders research the nearby guardian site for guardian weapon plans. The other carrier stays in the bubble, the crew wanted to take the opportunity to do a little sight-seeing offer from the Brewer Corporation and do some sight-seeing in the carrier construction and starport planning facilities.
