Today's the day. Arclight Inc.'s first test run. They convinced us to bring along some survey scientists as well, apparently UC and VG will pay top dollar for the right data. I guess it's good for our miners to have a little competition... Put a fire under their ass to show those eggheads what profit really means.
We've identified a destination, a remote spot just over the border of the Elysian Shores region. It shouldn't take us too long to get there. A lot of people have been out there before, but the minerals should be rich, and our survey officer is confident we'll still find some undiscovered systems out there.
I can hear the navigators firing up the Arclight's frame shift drive. I better get back to the bridge. Shouldn't be too many jumps until we arrive at our destination, and then the survey pilots will try to find us a pristine, untouched mining spot to park for the duration.
I've gambled a lot of creds on this expedition, let's hope this turns out.
